Going Hiking in the Adirondack Mountains

A friend and I were looking for some new areas to explore and go hiking since we’ve pretty much exhausted the area around where we live. Someone suggested going to the Adirondacks, and we found that to be a great idea! The Adirondack Mountains are contained in a 6.1 million acre park, so we will have plenty of new territory to explore. With the mountains, forests, and lakes, we’ll be sure to have plenty to look at and photograph. I know a couple of guys into bird-watching, so perhaps we’ll bring them along to Lake Placid’s Whiteface Mountain. Next summer, we’ll probably go back for some camping, or maybe we’ll do something new like white water rafting. We are very excited to go check out the awesome Adirondack Mountains!
