Barcelona is a wonderful place to visit for the whole family or even if you are going with that special friend. As big and popular cities go, Barcelona is not that expensive

But you can still keep your costs down if you opt for bed and breakfast in Barcelona. You may not know that in Spain, commercial accommodation divides into Hotels and Hostals (bed and breakfast type places).

It is these Hostals that I’m recommending to you. They are low cost, informal and often family run. And get this, the family or the management are always extremely helpful in terms of guiding you to whatever it is you desire from Barcelona. And of course you will get a great bargain in terms of prices too. Just note, you absolutely must book early … at the very least one to two weeks in advance.
