When I was in high school I wasn’t the prettiest girl. At least I thought I wasn’t. All the time I asked myself: "Why doesn’t any guy want to go out with me?". Maybe I am just not able to attract a man because I am too fat, too ugly, too whatever. I finally started to realize that it was my inner doubts that kept me form appearing attractive to guys. It was my lack of self-consciousness that radiated insecurity and fear all around me. This type of negative energy was what kept guys away from me. I am a very self-confident woman now. I don’t think I look any better than I did in high school. But my self-consciousness can be felt and picked up by the guys that are around me. Now many of them flirt with me and ask me out.
