Velcro Sleeping Bag – Would It Work?
There is nothing worse then getting ready to go to bed in your sleeping bag and getting the zipper stuck in the fabric. If you’ve had a long hard day the last thing you want is to fight with a sleeping bag zipper that just can’t seem to get the fabric out from it. I understand that zippers create a firm connection, but wouldn’t it be possible to use industrial velcro instead? Imagine simply placing the pieces together and presto a firm bond. No trying to keep your fingers lined up on both sides to prevent the zipper catching from the inside.
Perhaps it has been done, but it seems like it would be a good idea and much easier than constantly fighting with the zipper and fluffy sleeping bag.
