Tungsten Carbide Rings Vs. Tungsten Rings

What’s the difference between ordinary tungsten rings from tungsten carbide rings?

Though both are great options for jewelry, tungsten carbide rings are a lot stronger than the ordinary tungsten ring. It is because tungsten carbide is a lot stronger and tougher than the ordinary tungsten.

When tungsten is combined with any carbon alloy, it becomes tungsten carbide, a material that is so strong, only a diamond can cut through it. The strength of tungsten carbide is incomparable to that of the usual materials used for making rings (silver, gold, and titanium).

These days, strength and endurance play a great role in choosing the right ring. With the need to save money, one is more inclined to invest a lot of money on a ring that can last for years without getting scratched or dented. Tungsten carbide rings are guaranteed to not yield to scratches. Another good thing about it is that it retains its shine, so it will still look beautiful despite the years.

You can always settle for and ordinary tungsten ring. But if you are looking for quality, then go for tungsten carbide rings.
