My wife and I retired from Connecticut to Florida. We were pleasantly surprised by the plethora of choices we had for lifestyle and affordability. My wife loves tennis and I am a fanatic about golf.  We were able to find a lovely gated community that offered those activities and more. The area is so hopelessly beautiful and the warm friendships we have made have been appreciated immensely after leaving our family and friends back home. The best deal for us was waterfront at this time. But again,with the recession,every area seemed to offer the best deals on Naples real estate.  For years Realtors have nagged that now is the time to buy, but with the best deals on Naples real estate going on now, it is quite true.
