I was looking for some articles about buying cheap used textbooks today and found this blog.  It has links to textbooks for sale on ebay.  I was reading in the NY Times that online sales of books, especially textbooks, is killing the common, local, brick and mortar, used textbook and regular bookstores like Cody’s in Berkeley.  I remember going there as a kid.  It is very sad that that bookstore is yet another victim of the web like the newspapers appear to be.  I guess change is inevitable, but it is always sorrowful when it happens to something you remember fondly.
