Is the Online PALS course just as good as a regular course?

PALS stands for Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Many health care providers working around children are required to receive their PALS certification. When choosing your method of obtaining your certification, you have two choices. You can take a traditional classroom PALS course or take an Online PALS course. Either way, as long as you take it through a large accredited safety organization such as the American Heart Association, you’ll get the training necessary to obtain the knowledge as well as your card. Please note that you’ll most likely need to schedule a short skills check with a PALS instructor in order to obtain your card. Be prepared to pay an additional fee for the skills session, as the instructors time may be worth $50-$150. You can call around to get prices and availability.
