If you are into music, then you’ll understand the allure of a vintage insturment. There is nothing like it. They have a character all their own. They aren’t aways flashy, they aren’t always in the best shape, but they have a spirit to them. Take a vintage saxophone as an example. Some of the best saxophones ever created were made nearly 50 years ago. Perhaps that’s why music 50 years ago was so great? Now you can mostly find them in a few music shops on occassion and eBay. These saxes are a dime a dozen, but that dime sure can sing once you find it.

It is my goal to tour around the world before I hit 30.  I am now 22 so I’m quite on a panic mode to start the ball rolling.  Before I go somewhere else, I want to start my tour in Ireland.  My dad was born in Ireland.  Admittedly, I really don’t know much about the country except those I read from books and those pictures I’ve seen on TV.  My impression, however, is that it is so culturally rich and diverse.  There are lots of things I am looking forward to seeing there.  I also want to know more about their music because it is my ultimate passion.  I’ve heard Irish drum being played in a bar one time.  I like to be able to play those drums someday.

One important thing that you need in order to create a good scrapbook is creativity. Let your imagination do its job. It’s all about putting things together. You could recycle things and reuse other things. It may be an old button or a piece of paper that you have kept for a long that and may even have sentimental value. You can gather old photographs and have them laid out first before pasting all of them in the scrapbook. You can also get ideas from bookstores if ever you want to try something different from your own creation. You can make it colourful by adorning it with different items or make it meaningful by putting verses and inspirational words.

I love interior design and would give anything to be able to quit my factory job and turn my passion into a career The trouble is it’s an ever increasingly difficult area to get into and qualifications are as important as raw talent. I am a photographer and I take pictures of landscapes and nature.  I then use them to create my own calendars as gifts and for the local greeting card shop.  The advantage to living in a small rural area is that everyone knows everyone so it isn’t hard for me to push my calendars.  I make make photo calendar pages from my nature and landscape photos.  I also use a special software for creating these calendars that allows me a lot of freedom of expression in these calendars.  I am able to use any font and graphics within my calendars to make them unique.  I even number them for some of the folks here that seem to like to collect them.

My friends Steve and R.T. have their own band, and they have been somewhat successful so far.  They are played on Christian radio stations all over the country, although they have not made it to the main stream so far.  I must say, it would be pretty weird to hear Steve playing guitar chords over the radio waves someday.  They have made it so far as some department stores and other sellers of music, I think that if they stay with it they can make it big.  Maybe when they make if they do make if big someday they will share the wealth.  I hope so.

Recently, there has been a tendency among high profile music artists to release albums exclusively through a specific retailer in an effort to maximize profit returns on physical CD sales.  Walmart and Best Buy are among the leaders in this movement.  I guess the feeling is that these exclusive agreements will drive more demographic friendly customers into their stores to purchase other items in addition to their favorite artist’s new albums.
