Thoughts On “Moment of Truth for U.S. Productivity Boom”
American employment law advice isn’t going to return anytime soon. American wages are far too high to be supportable in the world marketplace, therefore, employers will continue to outsource overseas, replace people with automation, and squeeze ever more production out of those Americans lucky enough to be employed.
If Americans want jobs, they need to reduce their minimum wage down to $4/hour, or better yet, eliminate the minimum wage altogether. American employment won’t return until the value of American wages declines dramatically. In the meantime, the depression will continue. Americans need to get used to a reduced standard of living and fewer jobs.
