We helped our daughter buy a new car when she was a junior in high school.  she had a part time job and was making the payment herself and paying for her insurance.  She has really taken good car of it and paid it off two months ago.  She left for college this fall and took her car with her.  She is concerned because the manufacturers warranty will expire in three months so she has asked me to look around for car warranty information.  She thinks this may be a good idea since she is on such a limited budget that any major repair would really set her back.  She really is a smart girl and is very capable of taking care of herself.
